Sweet Thang: Oreo Bark

For years I’ve always made my Peppermint Bark for the holidays, but this year I decided to switch things up and instead add some Oreos for a chocolate twist. It’s a super easy recipe and it yields a ton of bark, making for the perfect sweet treat recipe for all your holiday parties this season. Merry Eating!

Oreo Bark
Yields About 2 Pounds of Candy

1 full box Oreos (I used the regular version)
2 pounds white chocolate (I use the Ghirardelli bars)

Place Oreos in a plastic bag and hammer into small chunks. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Combine Oreos with melted chocolate (save some of the larger chunks for a later use). Then pour the mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Now sprinkle the remaining Oreo chunks onto mixture and press lightly so that they stick into melted chocolate. Place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from cookie sheet and break into pieces (like peanut brittle).
